The area

Storhogna is a beatiful mountain village that is appreciated by many for its calmness and closeness to beautiful skiing possibilities. Still, there are restaurants and activities in the village. Storhogna has it’s own ski shop where you can rent ski equipment, and also their own ski school for both down hill and cross-country skiing.

Storhogna is situated about 15 minutes from Vemdalsskalet and is part of the Vemdalen ski area with Klövsjö/Storhogna, Vemdalsskapet and Björnrike. All these areas can be reached within 30 minutes from the ski lodge and is part of the same ski pass.

Next to the slopes in Storhogna, the Storhogna hotel is situated. Here you will find a bar and restaurant in a beautiful winter garden setting, a pizza and deli as well as a re-known spa. In the activity house Storhogna M there are activities such as bowling, billiards, a gym, après-ski and a restaurant.

The Vemdalen area has a lot of other winter activities to offer than just skiing. Snow mobile tours, dog sledding tours, horseback riding, fishing in the mountain lakes and top bird hunting are just some. We will be more than happy to help you find nice activities!

Summer and autumn in Storhogna

In the summer and autumn there are beautiful hike tracks to enjoy in the mountains around Storhogna. There are also nice possibilities to fish, bike, hunt, pick berries and swim in the mountain lakes. We will be more than happy to guide you!
